The key characteristics of the blocks, which are the result of absolute dedication to design, intelligent in-depth solutions and high-quality materials, combine outstanding reliability and long service life.

The 4-stage construction of the compressor blocks (IK 23) and the use of high-performance industrial ball bearings along with plateau-honed plasma-nitrided cylinders are the key to the units' extremely long service life.

The high-pressure final stage is equipped with piston rings featuring a special chrome-plated finish. A zero-maintenance low-pressure oil pump is responsible for the safe and reliable lubrication of the surfaces of the cylinders.

Operators can choose from a selection of electric motors to drive their applications.

The new VERTICUS combine the legendary BAUER compressor blocks with improved components and ultra-modern design! During the redesign, the focus was on ergonomics, making operation as easy as possible, reducing noise and boosting efficiency.
All control elements that are important for everyday operation are ergonomically arranged and easily accessible from the front. A new condensate vessel integrated into the housing with 40 % more capacity. The compressor control monitors the fill level and informs the operator in good time if the condensate needs to be emptied.The advanced B-CONTROL MICRO is more powerful and ready to communicate with the B-APP for remotely controlling and monitoring the compressor.

The VERTICUS breathing air compressors are available in versions for 225 and/or 330/350 bar as well as in a version for up to 420 bar. The high modularity of the VERTICUS series means that the units can easily be adapted to provide the best possible solution to your requirements and wishes.

BAUER I-series water-cooled high-pressure compressors are ideal for installation under the most difficult ambient conditions as well as for use in industrial applications.

By using targeted water cooling between the interstage and afterstage coolers and valve heads, the system enables the majority of the heat produced to be absorbed by the cooling water.

As a result, the multi-stage, industrial high-pressure compressors require very little maintenance and achieve long service lives. At the same time, they are quieter than comparable air-cooled compressors.
